The Point Lake and Golf Club offers some of the most unforgettable places in the Charlotte area for a wedding reception, luncheon, dinner or corporate event. Whether you select the Lake Club, the meeting house or the function lawn, our staff will work with you to create an event that exceeds your expectations and amazes your guests. |

Our menus offer an array of dining choices, from a variety of hors d’oeuvres to buffets and plated meals. Chef Travis Dale would be pleased to assist you in planning a custom menu to fit your needs. And, our experienced staff will work with you every step of the way, counseling you on every aspect of your event – from the flowers and decorations to the event layout and beverage selections.

The Lake Club
The Lake Club is every bride’s dream come true. Nowhere else in the Charlotte area does an entire back wall of the reception hall open to a beautiful beach on Lake Norman. The bride and groom can even plan to enter and leave the reception by boat. In addition to its incredible lake views, the Lake Club features cathedral ceilings and a fireplace. The Lake Club can comfortably seat 230 people for an outside ceremony, 350 for a sit-down dinner and up to 500 people for an hors d’oeuvres event. |

With double doors that open to our veranda, the Lake Club can accommodate larger groups during the milder months. This room can also be used for many different types of events, including business dinners, rehearsal dinners or event galas.
Meeting House
Used primarily for larger meetings, wedding receptions and wedding ceremonies, the Meeting House is perfect for groups ranging from 50 to 100 people seated, and up to 120 people standing. The facility features hardwood floors, elegant wall pictures and draperies, and a large open floor plan allowing for a wide variety of event layouts and decorative themes. |

A large function lawn adjacent to the Meeting House, offers a perfect spot for a tent to accommodate more seating for larger groups.
Function Lawn
The function lawn is a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony or reception. A wooded area overlooking the 18th green of The Point Golf Club and Lake Norman provides an ideal backdrop here. The function lawn may be used for barbecues, ceremonies, receptions, outings and luaus -- especially during the mild months of the year. |
